Travelling is an extraordinary experience every person needs. It opens you a whole new world out there and reveals your inner strength.

My journey of travelling started when I was in class 6th. My first trip was a trip to Mumbai.  These journey remained important for the reason that it was a rare opportunity for me in students life.

Mumbai, previously known asa Bombay, is a bustling metropolis and is the fourth most popular city in the world. The culture of this metro city is a boisterous blend of cuisines, language, food, cinema and festivals.  The city-dweller, often labelled as the 'mumbaikars'.  The official language of this beauty is Marathi which also happens to be the mother tongue of local maharashtrians. Mumbaikars are very passionate about their local cuisines. The metropolis is very famous forbids street fare such as vada pav,  chakli, chivda, modak, batata rassa, Dabeli, Pani Puri,  Dahi Puri, and Bhel Puri.

The blog enlist some of the most famous places to visit in Mumbai that should not be missd.

1. Gateway of India

Initially used as a jetty for the fisher folk of the area, Gateway of India at Apollo Bunder was later turned into a landing place for British governors and other officials. Today, it is a favourite among locals and tourists for its proximity to Taj Mahal Palace & Tower and the beautiful view of the Arabian Sea.A visit here can also be combined with a walk along Colaba Causeway, located right behind the Gateway.

2 Rajabai Clock Tower

The Rajabai Clock Tower at the Fort campus of the University of Mumbai is our very own answer to London’s Big Ben. Designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, an English architect, the Tower took nearly ten years to be built and was finally finished in November 1878.
Once, the Rajabai Clock Tower was the tallest structure in Mumbai but not anymore.

3 CST station

Earlier known as Victoria Terminus, Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus is the most important railway station in Mumbai and the terminating point for many long-distance trains. On days of national significance, the station is often lit up in multiple colours.
These are the some famous places that I had visited.
